Favorite Melee?

I’ve seen all kinds of polls for assault rifles and sniper rifles and other classes of weapons, but I’ve never seen a melee poll. Since melee weapons are universal, I decided to make one. Also, I’m celebrating my 250 rep.

My personal favorite is the Stiletto, since you have a fast light strike but a devastating heavy strike which allows you to oneshot noob Auras, which is vair vair fun.

Note: I put the kukri on the poll, but not the katana, since the kukri is used by four different mercs, but the katana only has two, and those two use the katana pretty much exclusively.

You do realise that the heavy strikes on ALL the melee weapons do at least 80 damage, so you can always one shot noob Auras, no matter which weapon you have?

Yes, but killing them with a tiny little dagger is more fun for some reason.

Beckhill seems to have the most consistent hit detection.

Beckhill, fast, no run penalty, no wonky hit detection.

The Kukri without question, it’s the most hilarious weapon in the game and is fun as hell to use.

Kukri looks the best and it does more damage on right AND left clicks.
Beckhill is ok, no pros or cons
Stilnotto is useless because there are no 85hp mercs and 70hp (2 left click hits) don’t kill anyone, I honestly think they need to give it a small buff, either 90 damage right click or slightly faster attack speed
Cricket Bat looks ugly and the hitboxes are broken, I once tried to break the glass on Bridge to get to the obj and I missed 3 hits when I was right near the glass so I ended up firing it with my pistol

Beckhill because of hit detection.
I love the Stillneto but you can’t gib enemy when you stand still and don’t look perfectly right at your feet.

I’ve never had a problem with gibbing using the Stilnotto, and I feel more badass with a spring loaded knife. It’s also wicked fast, Idk why but it feels faster than the Beckhill

Stilnotto has too low range, cricket bat for me.

For whatever reason, the Cricket bat just does not work when I use it. I can only hit things that are out of my FOV with it, unless I aim at their feet. It is a pain to finis enemies with it, and the extra damage is not worth the slow for me.

Im also not sure about this but I kinda agree with you.I really want to know if the Stilnotto attacks faster than the beckill.
