Objective. Instead of playing one map with a complete trash team, I got to play it only once.
Idk, haven’t played on min. lvl 20 servers yet but maybe they could make Stopwatch tolerable.
I prefer objective. The games last the perfect amount of time imo, stopwatch can go on a little too long for my liking. I don’t like execution as much, cause I like to fuck about a lot when I play and sometimes it goes poorly, don’t want to spend 1+ min watching other people play.
Ok yeah, I get that, so it seems like people mainly like objective over stopwatch because it has shorter games?? I totally get people liking stopwatch/objective over execution though, you just like that game mode better.
If a team is bad in objective and on attack the game usually ends in 7.5 minutes. If the team is on defense and bad the game at least will end before 15 minutes are up.
In stopwatch if you are attacking with a bad team it will take a minimum of 15 minutes while the clock runs down of not being able to take the objective. Then at least 1-3 more minutes while the enemy team beats the first objective. Longer if your team can hold together a defense better. If the team is on defense first then you can lose in 4-10 minutes to complete all objectives and then have to fail to complete all/the first objective for another 3-10 minutes(whatever time was set by the previous team).
So Yes. An objective game with a bad team is faster. A game with a good team in objective can come down to the wire around 15 minutes if it is fair. Stomps just end quicker in objective when compared to stopwatch.

I really enjoy execution. It’s very tactical and requires lots of strategy. I love having all eyes on me during clutch moments. I’m honestly surprised it’s not considered for rank mode.
My generally favorite mode is Objective, because I mostly just play pubs to chill. I definitely prefer Stopwatch to Objective for competitive, or for Min 20 servers. Things can get really intense on those servers and I prefer the Stopwatch format to really show “who the better team is”.
Most of the time when I play Objective I don’t care too much about which team wins, as long as I do well for myself.
I enjoy Execution when I want to work on getting used to or improving my gunplay with a specific weapon, or just to relax after some more serious matches. In general I find the Objective/Stopwatch format more enthralling than Execution though, Dirtybomb was designed and balanced around objective based play and functions better there.
Also I never do well in Execution doing melee only, works much better in objective.

I totally agree, i have had so many clutch moments that i am glad other saw me do, cuz if they didn’t i don’t know if i would believe that i just did that. I am also surprised there is no ranked/comp version of execution, it takes a lot more team work in my opinion. I have seen one guy carry and entire team for stopwatch comp, but that is much harder to do in execution.

I definitely prefer stopwatch, as I get missions done, longer with other people who are cool (I’m pretty chatty, and it’s nice when other people joke along too) there are in my opinion more tense moments, and I like being able to play both sides, especially if I’m better at one half e.g defence on bridge

To be honest, it’s not something we are looking into currently as we always intended the game’s competitive format to be 5v5 Stopwatch. It’s something we may consider in the future, though. 
Stopwatch gives the most time to get absurd kill counts. 
Pugs in Stopwatch are also probably the most enjoyable things I’ve done in DB.
But pretty much what a lot of people are saying to ranked execution “I don’t like it as much, don’t add ranked”
I chose objective because of playing in pubs most of the time.
There are frequently imbalanced teams and if this is the case, I don’t have to sit through however many minutes of play just to get my mission done. That being said, stopwatch is great for comp because there will (hopefully) be balanced teams.
Execution is probably second to OBJ because of variety of play. Its nice to take a break from the usual objectives. Like other people said earlier, I really wish there was a comp exe. If they were to do that though, I think they would need to add some things to spice the gameplay up. What this would include? I dont know.
There are great arguments for and against secondary obejctives, or perhaps there could be variable rewards for getting kills or winning rounds. Extra augment for every kill or win or something? Could carry over between rounds. It would also add an interesting momentum trait to the game. Where if one team wins first round then the opposing team would need to work extra hard to make sure they don’t keep their augment advantage. Yeah I realize augments aren’t a huge advantage but maybe they could add upgrades and new augments for exe. Like if you get a kill you get the second rank of your first augment and then second kill gets second rank for second augment and so on. Maybe three ranks for each augment?
Or perhaps there could be team augments for winning rounds or something like that.
really I have no idea but just something to make it variable and interesting and also add a sense of desperation.
@Ardez what do you think of the exe idea? Similar to CSGO (in a way) but I think it is Dirty Bomb stylized enough.
Servers are too unstable in my opinion to risk my time playing SW or ranked, literally the biggest reason I avoid ranked.
You can have so many different errors that drop you from the game, not to mention when server is having a stroke(connection lost message 5 times during one round, that might also drop you from the server), meaning you played near 30min and lets say your 30k score becomes 0. No credits, no xp, no cases.
And these are just the server side issues. Those who might have some issues on their end on top of those probably never bother with stopwatch/ranked as they might often lose all their progress.
I do find stopwatch more interesting, but at the moment just not worth it really.
As for execution, might as well play CS and have some map variety.
Stopwatch is the only mode i dont get frustrated in, synced spawn timers and playing both sides makes it feels less “cheesy” (cant think of another word) and random.
