Soldier. I havent put abilities into the other classes yet so I cant tell. But explosives are fun :slight_smile:

Engineer. Easy to help the team and still get a lot of kills in… Though I like to jump back and fourth between classes depending on the map.

the operative because he can locate enemies, hack comms, hack turrets and use them in first person, and is the best class to use smart with because of all the abilities you can use in a flanking position

Have only tried Soldier and Operative, and to my surprise i like the operative much more

Operative over all of them, simply because it is the only class that can effectively branch off from the group while still remaining helpful to the rest of your team. An operative can take flanking positions and clear up choke points for your team to get through. Believe it or not, killing one or two people helps your team out tremendously when they’re pinned.

Then an Operative can take the high ground pointing out mines with a sniper rifle and can pick off enemies.

I initially started playing as a medic up untill very recently, now I am rocking Soldier/Engineer, have not even tried the operative yet, only a couple of times on hack objs but thats about it. I plan to sell all at lvl 20 and respect as a pure universal/Soldier and then start ranking up my next character to be all universals/engineer.

gotta be operative to me. the caltrops are a favorite of mine to tell when people are at a place i dont want them to be, and remote control turret is totally cool.

Soldier. With the right weapon loadout you can plow through anything except an equally ranked/skilled enemy Soldier. And yet, you’re still an asset to your team in a support role because people tend to eat up their ammo pretty fast.

Operative. I like spot and marking and comms hacking fallen enemies.

Any class can do this, and, imo, Soldier does it better than Operative as he’s more self sufficient with his ammo restore and scavenge abilities, plus KD and flashbang nades for escape.

For me: as you might have guessed from the above, soldier.

I love being able to work the fringes of the battlefield, picking off enemies, scavenging corpses, laying explosive traps, flanking behind groups of enemeis and chucking in KD or FB nades…

Being able to support your team with Ammo for a change of pace adds another dimension.

I find I can survive as a soldier even longer than I can as any other class, and I top the boards almost every time I focus on playing as one.

Engineer, coz nothing makes my day quite like some dude blowing up on my mine, a step from objective. My second favorite is when some dude runs into my turret and gets done in, it’s like he got suckerpunched! Priceless!

I’ve played them all, but nothing beats the feeling of Hero Medic- hang back, wait for the white circles to pop up, then mop up the opposing team and revive your whole squad. It’s super frantic, you’re either killing or racing to rev, never a dull moment.

Operative has a lot going for it- lots of great strategic possibilities, but I think I need to find a regular group to play with if I want to exploit that.

I love being the Soldier. No one ever seems to ever pass ammo around when I’m in a game and I got tired of constantly having to run to the command post so as a soldier I get to save others that trouble, plus get a warm fuzzy feeling about giving people ammo.

Also grenades.
