Farming EXP in 1vs1 a ban reason?

Yes, a real 1vs1 is totally legal. The question was about a game where 1vs1 both people only disable and repair the EV all the time to get points.

Yes, but how is the game going to distinguish the two? The only way to tell the difference is to have a human verify one or the other, which isn’t realistic.

How about them just toning down the XP/credit gain for underpopulated servers (if it’s actually a problem). Have it scale from little at 1v1 to max at 5v5 or something. It’s not like you play to farm XP/credits in friendly 1v1s.
The same way stuff like cheating/harrasing is handled (if this is a bannable practice). You send a ticket to the support guys with as much infos as possible (server name, time, player names, screenshots, vids) explaining the situation.
Support most likely will than look at the server logfiles and see 2 players, that have zero kills / zero death 30k gaming XP and the EV changing states over and over again.

And that would be a ban. No need for a game system that prevents that really the actual advantage isn’t that big but might be affecting enough that Nexon wants it not to happen (it devalues missions / levelgates / bragging rights). If thats the case it should be reported.

What happened, I need closure.
I didn’t followup on it but I’d wager it ended in anger and possibly tears for quite a few people.

Alright, but who’s gonna report them? They’re the only ones on the server, free to do what they please. Unless you join the server and they tell you to fuck off, nothing will be done. I don’t really care, but if it really is a banable offence I do think they should put a system in place that would allow it.

Quickjoin is always eager to but players into already going servers so people will join those farming guys. They tell you to fuck off, you ask why, they might tell you. You get a screenshot and say good day gentleman. And then report them. As soon as ingame reporting is here that will be a no brainer.

As you pointed out having a automatic routine is propably not that easy to do. And I would add that the damage those guys do is not big enough to waste Dev. time on it. But is still something that you might want to report when you stumble on it.
