Q. - the “a faster teammate is repairing” doesn’t seem to keep people from repair stacking is there anything that can be done to improve this.
A. - This is a problem we’ve always run into and we’ve constantly been trying to convey this effectively to players. When someone else is repairing faster your repair tool is moved off screen as a visual cue but we are currently looking at others ways for us to improve this for you. We’ll give you more information on that when we can.

Q. - How do I use weapon kits? I’ve tried to use them and the game won’t let me.
A. - in the thread it was determined that he was trying to use the weapon kit on a bronze card and you cannot use weapon kits on bronze cards. You can only use them on silver and above.

Q. - Who is better and why between Aimee and Vasilli?
A. - Personally I enjoy Aimee more because I like snitching people and when you get snitch kills it is very satisfying. If you don’t know snitches do 1 point of damage when they hit people so kills are few and far between but man it feels good!

Q. - I’ve got 66 hours in game and I’m level 7 and yet I’m still getting absolutely obliterated by other players, what am I doing wrong?
A. - Turn on hitbeeps and start living for those headshot dings. As soon as you start playing and you get those headshot dings going like mad you’re gonna have a good time, so start off with that.

Q. - I’ve recently started Dirty Bomb and would like to know which mercs to buy first?
A. - “Well as I always say ‘Nader is bae’”. Kira is also a ton of fun too, the pillar of fire is intimidating and lots of fun to control. Just be careful you don’t run into it and kill yourself which I may or maynot have done a few times. So kill OTHER people with it.

Q. - I’ve noticed over time that a lot of the newer players who come to the game seem to be under the impression that objective is the main game mode of Dirty Bomb.
A. - Well objective is the most played game mode in the game and it’s the first mode that you play because execution isn’t unlocked until after the first few levels. The more time you spend in a gamemode the more you get used to it and enjoy it. Stopwatch is the core of Dirty Bomb though. “But we don’t judge. If you want to play execution, go ahead and play execution. If you want to play objective, go ahead and play objective. If you want to play stopwatch, damn right you go play stopwatch, you go play stopwatch right now. But I’m biased.”

Q. - What’s the update on the new map?
A. - Uh, it’s already out. Where have you been? Dockyard has been out for 2 weeks! Go play it!

Q. - When will you make Dirty Bomb’s ranked work?
A. - Tuesday!

Q. - Anything you can tell us about ranked season 3?
A. - At this point… No. However this weekend I’ve lined up a series of social media posts to promote the new season.

Q. - I’ve seen many people claim that there is no local multiplayer for DB. But when I was looking through the commands I noticed a “open” command and a “local host default syntax”.
A. - Lots of programmer knowledge there… But I can confirm that there is no LAN version of the game. You can open up maps if you just want to practice jumps and get your bearings locally on the machine, but no LAN mode. You cannot play with people locally. You can however setup private matches. You need yourself and 4 other people minimum.

Q. - My game is freezing consistently for a few seconds every so often.
A. - If this is indeed happening consistently please get in touch with our support team. “And prepare to be helped.”
At this point Shoe answered a question from the livestream:
“No LAN version in a competitive game?”
A. - Not yet, there is potential for it in the future but right now we are focusing on making the game the best that it can possibly be.

Q. - I’ve just passed 700 hours and feel pretty happy with my skill level when it comes to gunfights and map awareness. But I feel like I’m pretty far behind when it comes to teamwork.
A. - So if you want to become a better team player the best idea is to always keep and eye on your team’s mercs and swap when necessary. Have a medic, engie, and dps in your squad so you can swap out when you need to. Always play the objective. Learning spawn timers.

Q. - Will we be able to re-roll special edition cards?
A. - Sadly no and we don’t have any plans to introduce that. However that could change. “The future is a mysterious place.”
Another question from the stream:
"Any ideas for better praise/punish systems than currently? Tooltips for medics “Revive your teammates!” etc.
A. - Adding more tooltips and such is on the list, but on the master list we are focusing on trying to get casual match making out along with other future work. That’s not to say it won’t happen, it would be awesome to have so “potentially”. As for better praise/punish system in the game, I mean, why not? Let’s do it!
Accidental Announcements
At this point they slipped and talked about upcoming features that hadn’t been announced apparently.
- 3 and 4 person ques will be available in season 3.
- Que dodging is taken care of and shouldn’t be happening anymore. “We are anonymizing the other team so players aren’t just leaving because of who they see they are playing against.”
- They are upping the leaving early punishments for ranked matches.

Q. - I’m a returning player and saw that arsenal crates have been introduced since I left. Will they be given out retroactively?
A. - Sadly, no. They have not and will not be given retroactively to players.

Q. - What if we started with Fragger instead of Skyhammer?
A. - Fragger isn’t a team player like Skyhammer, we want to teach new players to play the objective and team play.

Q. - I just reached level 7 and higher skill players are running me out of my matches.
A. - Sadly there’s not much we can do about that at the moment but we are working out asses off to get casual match making live which should resolve all the issues that were brought up in the thread.
