FAQ-Friday- In memory of Kim Loe

(_Wi.Bi_FlawLess) #1

Hello, in view of the last events, of this tragic death of a player of tallent, appreciated by all, reputed to be the best sniper of Dirty Bomb, yes I speak of course of Kim Loe, an idea came to me.

A lot of people have already paid homage to her through videos or comments, such as spartamania302 who posted a very moving video on Youtube and who was very near to Loe, I myself paid homage to him by posting an ad on my Steam group as a tribute to Loe.
But I told myself that it was not enough, that a simple farewell, you will miss us all clearly was not enough for a player of that level then I thought of something.

I would like to suggest an idea for the next event if you accept it.
Loe was a tall player with the snipers so I was wondering if it would be possible to create an event to really pay tribute to Loe, as it should be, that it is not forgotten and remains etched for life in our memory because we can’t forget a person like that …
The aim of the event would be to make as many headshots as possible, regardless of the weapon used, and to give rewards in relation to the number of headshots made in a limited time, for example (100 headshots: 10 basic boxes, 250 headshots , Credit booster, …).

I’m sure it would give Kim a tremendous pleasure to do that and it would allow us all to pay homage to her as she should and never forget, to play as she did for one nothing …

I thank you for taking the time to read my request, hoping that it will take place in the future …

Regards,

Flawless

Well, we can always donate some of those hard earned credits to cancer research.

Also, a bit of topic, what’s the difference between cancer and tumour?

para-medic here

Tumors come in 2 types: benign, which are not cancerous and can be easily removed by surgery and malign, which are cancerous tumors.

Not all cancers give you tumors, though but malign tumor is cancerous (=unstable cells who mutiply, spread then invade) and futhermore can give you cancer.

@"_Wi.Bi_FlawLess" @stayfreshshoe I’ve got a suggestion, that I’ve admittedly stolen from Counter-Strike’s development team that could be used to make a proper tribute to Kim Loe, embedding her legacy into the game itself. I was think that you could have someone (Friends, family, community members) who was willing to do graffiti styled art pieces of which the family chooses one to be implemented somewhere into the map textures walls. This Muriel on the wall will be a beautiful way in which Kim Loe’s legacy stays with the Dirty Bomb community for the future to come.

Also on top of what @AlbinMatt said, how about a Dirty Bomb store sale where say all (Or 50% of the proceeds made go to cancer research charity? What do ya say to that @stayfreshshoe ?

My condolences to Kim Loe’s family, friends and fans.

A graffiti of Kim Loe in one of the maps would be good saying “Kim Loe was here”

It’s always sad knowing that people who you’ve played games with have passed. It’s weird too because sometimes you don’t even know what the person looks like, but you feel like you’ve known them all your life… all through the internet. Incredible really. I’ve played a few games where I learned some fellow players have either fallen ill or died and it gives you that awkward feeling knowing you’ll never see that name pop up on the scoreboard or forum again…

What may be worse is not knowing if someone died or is just taking a long break from a game! Wish we could honor all deceased players, but doing something nice for Kim Loe would be awesome!

yes… its weird even if u Fight with them in insults u always find them again like a friend u didn’t wanted, then to know a fellow player just drop the mouse and keyboard / Joystick and lost a tough war

why not a mysterious girl on Dockyard with a few flags and a sniper rifle on his side watching (i think it will be nice). then a graffiti on hard sniping spots.
