A lot of artists do that. They often can be very critical of their own art and the art of others. I think every one honestly does that at some time or another.

Point is I personally still find it appealing so it looks good to me. Others appear to agree with the idea. so again…

Some people who make art also often say that (a bit counter-intuitively I agree) in order to get some constructive critisim from those who know their stuff about the subject :wink: Maybe even those’s input who are not so familiar with the art.

I mean who wouldnt want to become better at the stuff you like to do. Think of it as opening the discussion like “this is my art, I know its good enough to put out there like thus, but I theres still something off in it. Please, help me out a bit?”

I know nothing about drawing and painting though, so for me this just looks absolutely fabulous :stuck_out_tongue: Good job! If anything, maybe some minor proportions of the character are a little out of place? I dont know. Keep doing it, I’m sure whatever it is you don’t feel is just right yet, becomes better with time!

Well, to be honest I tried to make it look like those traditional Japanese ink painting

But since I lack on painting skills (my whole artwork mostly has cel-shaded style on it, and somehow I managed to fail ink painting class?), I just do what I could, haha

Also thanks @bontsa for pointing that out, his left arm is actually looks kinda weird :’'DD
