Hello, how do you set up a dedicated server with FalckonET? I have been trying but it won’t show up on the masterserver list when I rightclick the properties and add set dedidcated 2 into the target area. It will just show up for a few seconds and watchdog will crash it. And I try to put the command in the autoexec. It will only show up if I run the game like normal, load the mod, and then do a dedicated server from there. But I will not have iron sights even if I do.

as far i remember… the mod is closed and u cant run it local, unlike noquarter or jaymod. correct me if i’m wrong?

Well, running it the client way does work online, but that means no scripts :/. But me and my friend are having fun with only iron sights to aim >.<. Got to <3 falckon :). Also does anyone know how to drive tanks? I think the tank can’t have a script to move or something.

You need to add a moving tank with a command.
I think it was /ref addtank or something like this

I kind of had a feeling to go to the website and they would have a manual of some sort. I it /ref addtank /ref addpanzer. OMG I love this mod <3. It is so cool. Well, I am going to be hosting a dedicated server for a day or two(no ftp) if you would like to join the ip is

the thing is… this mod is very buggy. i played few minutes 2 days ago, and on streets of italy allies had to plant dynamite few times to blow up the gate, server was randomly kicking players etc…

yes, it is very buggy. First day I found how to get under radar xD. And I Was 1v1 a friend and he was like WTF. :P. This mod brings fun back though, to ET. I like driving the tanks :P. And also another bad thing about this is that on some maps I will get a hunksmeg error. But all in all I vote this mod 9.5/10 (I would give it 10/10 but the bugs are a slight difference) and I never got 0.5 to work always said that the mods didn’t match and I constantly put the 0.5 folder in both ET folders (one for the server, other client). But ya it is great! :smiley: I might rent a server for ET and put it on it.

I tried a tankrace in minas tirith , but at some points you can’t get past, and you get stuck almost everywhere… :frowning:
but its fun, also you can use q3map2 to scale a map up … so more space to drive around - like micro machines…

ps: I would love to have these tanks as fun mod in other mods… therefor opensource would be really great…

I think that Unique1 ported these tanks to some other mods as well. Check the East Front forums for more info.

I’ll check once more whether I can release all the stuff from the mod, but I can’t promise anything.
