Fail safe on Skyhammer

It feels really useless, as well as Pineapple juggler.
I mean… why would Skyhammer on top of his airstrike marker? and if he does, still dies lol

Makes me wonder if Augments were randomly slapped on loadout cards instead of being carefully thought out.

Why would you ever die to your own arty strike to begin with?.. I think that’s grounds for uninstalling out of shame.

It’s the classic: Salvo on yourself to counter the impending melee phantom. It’s the only way.

Well, if he’s at the periphery of the strike fail safe could save him. Also if you use it as a grenade in CQC it could save you from damage/death. Better than Pineapple Juggler or Sneaky that’s for sure.

Many a phantoms have tasted the blade when I play RedEye~.

Nah but really, Fail-Safe and Unshakeable should be merged together; essentially they are the same kind of augment but with a different side.

This. Every time!

But yeah, it’s one of the many augments that add little-to-nothing to a loadout and I honestly don’t know why they even added them.

It becomes more unfortunate that people are already putting a lot of time and resources in collecting/trading up cards, so changing anything now may bring forth an outcry. “Seriously? I just traded up 8 gold cards with loadouts that are now suddenly the best!”.

A lot of the augments are intentionally bad to balance with the weapons.

Awesome weapon = less awesome augments.
