F8. Ceres Competitive Videos

(Ceres) #1

Seeing as how I am now done with all of my old videos and probably wont play more competition to gain new ones, here are all the videos from competitive scrims/matches that I made. These are mainly for newer players as older ones either don’t care/ don’t like such simple videos.

Enjoy!

Starting with the newest and going down to the oldest ones:

Thanks for sharing, nice skills to watch.

What makes me curious is how fluid some sequences look:

This scene feels like a totally different game than the rest.

Any info you can share about?

EDIT: Forum doesnt like time code it seems… I meant the scene at 0:47 on the roof.

You are probably referring to the configuration I used. I believe that demo/recording was from a few patches ago ( more than a month ago) when you could turn off explosives and bullet tracers. So. without the clutter from explosions and bullet tracers, everything looks a lot smoother and I used to get steady FPS.

If that’s not what you are referring to then I’m not sure what to say

I cant pinpoint it actually but I run the game on 120+fps on a 120Hz monitor and it just never feels and looks as smooth and fluid as it does on some video material. I really have no idea what it is. I just see its not the same as 120fps material in other games, movies and streams.
So, I am thankful for any pointers you can give, in and outside the game. Might be that it was only the effects disabled as you mentioned. Dont you feel that some scenes are more fluid than others in your vids?

I believe it was just that config from months ago. You can still download it and see if it changes anything for you though.
