F2P - Marketing concept proposition

What if fans were to be able to create content like sounds, maps, extra artwork, etc. , make a pack out of it, submit it to SD for review, and if accepted, the pack would become available on the “online-market”, and the author gets a share of the profit made out of the sells ?

This could be a nice way to reward commitment in the community of DB as a F2P game too … ?!? This could ensure there will be new content flowing into the game, controled by SD ofc.

This is basically the same principle as the smartphones markets, this is a great way to bring new creative ideas, content and gather also amateur artists and designers and give them an opportunity to work on video games.

Is it realizable ? Does it fits the goals of DB ? Does it please the tapirs ???

139 pages of thread … can’t read it completely, was this idea already entered among all these threads ?

Yes. Pretty much.

It’s worth while reading anyway.

mhhh, then when I get time I’ll go through it, thanks for telling me though

Yep it’s a good idea and certainly realisable, when however we couldn’t say at this stage as the game needs to reach a certain stage of maturity beforehand.

As long as you exclude maps I’d be happy with the general premise.

maps are too sensitive and hard to make for amateurs, agreed
