EZ-Nade Launcher

Just played with the EZ-Nade Launcher on Security Tower.Things i would suggest so it get s more effective.

[li]Remove the timer on nades so long range shots are actually possible without the nade exploding in mid-air.The EZ-Nade Launcher could work well at some spots in the map but you can’t do those artillary support shots from the ledges etc. as the nades explode in mid-air after some seconds.

I would suggest that those nades that would explode in mid-air explode directly on impact on the ground after the timer went down.

[li]Also the spread is horrible under sustained fire.I would suggest reducing it signifcantly.

The game is still dominated by lights and mediums.

Dont know how to quote a sentence but yes there are many lights an mediums but no worry the heavys weapons are getting buffed like crazy come the dlc so chances are there may be a bunch of heavys

I really hope they re-work the weapons.All weapons have horrible spread.Recoil compensates itself instead having the player to do it!!! I mean the gun goes literally into the direction of the floor if one compensates the recoil… AR’s are almost useless in in-fights as the spread is so ridiculous.

The Hjammerdeim shotguns is such a joke.You have to shove it into somebody s ass to kill.The spread is so immense.It s completely useless even 6 foots away, even when using AS and after getting patched.It has a spray that is not even funny.On top of that the recoil is random,it s not as bad as the gerund’s random recoil in AS which is horrible but still it sucks.I mean lights are strafing left and right so fast, it s almost like they are beaming around.If you have a random recoil it s pure luck… There’s almost no chance to win against a Carb or strong SMG with this gun even when beeing super close!!! Why does the heavy to get no damage advantage, he is so damn slow he needs it.

The Maximus has an uncontrollable recoil, instead of making the recoil go into one direction so one can compensate it.The maximus recoil is like max spread.You just can’t control it.

The Chinzor has such a small gap in which it is effective other than that you get shot by SMG’d AR’d or rifled.The Spread is completely random, the recoil compensates itself!!

The minigun makes the heavy walk even slower… The patch made it better yes but like the chinzor it has such a small gap in which it is effective.

All the weapons have been reworked for the pc version of brink and will be re done for xbox and ps3 when the dlc comes

I’m not buying the idea that knock-backs would make the EZ nade launcher overpowered, there are enough ways to tone down it’s effectiveness.

The funny thing is that it isn’t even close to beeing effective atm… I mean it s not even effective against turrets or mines…

The already buffed pc Eznade is great on many maps. You can really dish out some hurt with it around the terminal hack objective for example. It could use a larger starting ammo supply though.

The new Hammerdjinn is also great, with 50% more damage and 3 shots per turn.

AR recoil is getting reworked iirc. (gerund up a bit, rhett/others down - i think?)

either way, i started out not using front grip on Rhett b/c the nade launcher was enticing. even with burst fire, the rhett is a little jumpy/spready till you add the front grip. with front grip, sustained bursts are possible. (still bursting, just a few more at a time)… i use greeneye scope, and front grip + ADS helps a lot.

I tried but I can’t give you any good input - I’ve never liked burst fire weapons in any game.

I think the only upgrade the EZnade is getting is larger splash damage radius.

Sorry, just had to point out the obvious. Just came to say, I can’t wait to test out the weapons when the patch comes for 360. Experimenting with the new tweaked weapons is going to be fun.

I wonder if the weapon tweaks for consoles will be different? I hope not…as I hope to switch to the PC version one day when I get a PC that can run it. Would like for my timing and sense of the weapons to carry over. But its no big deal…just curious.

The tweaks are not all that noticeable in my opinion. It may be bigger for weapons I don’t play much. It didn’t change the feel of the game for me.

well i hope this is about pc version.

first , eznade is beast… if you know how, when, and where to use it. throw a cocktail ,then a nade ,then unload on the point of interest. mass nade spike equals death everywhere…

second,turrets and mines are beast. if you know how ,where, and when to use them.if you look in the right places there are many great spots to plant turrets. they have great range too. but you have to help them target. you should almost always be behind your turret, with 2 mines covering your ass, if need be. when behind said turret i find when i ironsite targets and shoot the turret picks up the target right away. also mines help the turrets pick up targets too. if you dont need cover behind yourself ,set up mines in front of the point , cover point with turret , mines and you targeting = your turret working overtime.

i hope this helps your gameplay.

No you don’t. This patch has a whole lot of needed fixes to this game and making the EZnade better ain’t going to be no skin off my back. No one uses this gun for a reason.
