I honestly can’t imagine inner radius for max damage output is larger than a Fragger nade at most. Functionally speaking, the rocket seems to literally be a Fragger nade coded to fire from a rocket launcher and possibly be guided. It gets 2x more cool down for that ability, making it strictly worse than Fragger nades that are far more easily maneuvered, harder to dodge, can’t be blown up in the air, bounce off walls, and thrown from complete safety every 15 seconds.
Yup, the missile can be destroyed if you spray fire at her. I’d say that it is wonky though as you spray her at times but when she shoots downward at your feet it usually can’t get destroyed. Also, I have gibbed a full health rhino with my rocket so I’d say it has some intense damage.

either that, or there is extra damage for directs akin to fletcher stickies, result is the same, any merc will disappear when directly hit.

No where does he state anything about giving her a designated area of placement. He stated a circle thing as in the circle that indicates the time it takes to activate the ability. The circle that represents the 1.5 seconds. Not the cicle that designates where the ability will go.

A rhino with unshakeable can survive the blast damage with 30 hp. They are complaining because a direct hit can instakill a rhino. Although i hate javelin, i also thing that a direct hit should be strong enough to instakill everything. Directly hitting someone with rocket is not easy.

skyhammer got 60 sec cooldown with arguably the biggest damage in the game per ability and utility to be able to be used indoor with 80dmg and 18 sec cooldown nearly matched fragger in utility, yet people arguing that javelin is OP.
no, javelin isnt OP compared to these guys with space laser, missile barrage, and precision deep artilery strikes that you can drop anywhere open with walls.

All of their abilities create flashy lasers and loud voices before they land. Arty and Skyhammer can’t change the location of their abilities when the lasers appear(1.5 second for arty and 2 for skyhammer). So only noobs get hit by them.
Javelin’s rocket is the only ability that can instantly kill any merch in 1 second without aiming and timing.

make the penalty for noob use (point blank floor sploding survivorship)severe enough so the merc fits the usage slot it is designed for.

Noone is asking for a damage nerf. A skilled player can’t be effected by nerf like"smaller blast radius", “more charging time”, “laser comin from rocket launcher”, “slower projectile”… because a skilled player can still aim and make the rocket explode very close to people. Without a damage nerf it won’t be like stoker’s nerf.

if you havent been around the forum for long, fletcher nerf is one of the most requested nerf since he can one shot every 100hp mercs and below
thats not counting the fact that he has 3 of them and has faster speed yet same hp compared to bushwhacker.
Fletcher is just a better pick than bush or proxy before the nerf.

(Btw fletcher is an actually overpowered merc that is hands down better than every engineer in the game and actually stronger than Jav in utility and strength and he could use even further nerfing or the other engineers needs buffing to match)

Please show video evidence of someone shooting a rocket that blows up within 5 meters of themselves and they live through it. I have yet to live after blowing up a rocket close to me.
