Hey, i am a guy that likes to mess around with scripts like for example bind different keys to 1 seperate key and also use and create different jump scripts, like bhop scripts and jump-crouch which i usually use on source games like cs and tf2 etc.
Im just wondering how the community/devs opinion on scripts are, if its unfair or considering “hacking” or if its fine to use scripts in Dirty Bomb.
Also, what about mouse/keyboard macros?
Any use of a macro is considered cheating/hacking. Best bet is to not use them.
Rebinding hotkeys it totally fine and supported.
I want to bind the ingame callout on button V, but there is no where ingame i can bind it. Would it be considered cheating/hacking if i used an external program to bind this key to Z? Or is there another way, like the ingame console or something that i dont know about? Thank you
There should be a function in the controls so you can rebind it. I will have to check when I get home, but I am fairly certain it is in there. Might just be going by a different name. Look for any existing hotkeys that use the letter V.

Nah there is none in the controls, i have looked several times. Thanks for trying to help me out though.
