First forum post, so be reasonably patient if some of these issues I bring up have already been discussed (I have done some searches to see if there was any chatter relating to my concerns and was not able to find a solid discussion that proved sufficient)
I’ve recently noticed that Nader is not taking damage from her own grenades. If she should take damage, then there is either a bug or hackers that have disabled the programming. If she is invulnerable to her own grenades, then I want a change–if Fragger takes damage from his ‘pineapples’, then Nader should as well. Disagree>? Please, by all means, make your argument.
Another unfair advantage I take serious issue with has to do with character mobility. I will say first–the ‘slowing’ of character speed during reload times and when at low health is an excellent feature to the gaming experience overall and shows the developers are mindful of the details that go into building a first class FPS–but this is beta, so here comes the complaints: I am ‘okay’ with certain characters moving faster than others, but when the characters with high speed walk/sprint take serious damage they still maintain significantly higher mobility than their ‘slower’ wounded teammates (or enemies). If Aura has 28% HP, then she {ought} to move like it—Nader carries a grenade launcher and has the [back of a stegosaurus], but yesterday I watched her bunny hop and sprint her way through turret fire with 11% HP…this makes me angry and want to break porcelain clown statues…fix it.
The last complaint I will make is about the knife stab (melee attack?) Aiming is all over the place…You can’t stab enemies if they are crouched (even if I crouch down I still can’t stick’em)…If, you’ve managed to stab someone while they are crouched and you are standing, then please send a SS or video to prove it…Maybe I am too far away…(even then, I’m still not happy with the mechanics–too ‘army’ and reminds me of when you heal yourself on FarCry 2, that is it takes too long)…
