I killed exactly 6 people with Kira’s laser at the beginning of a match, but all I got for it was the rank 1 Blast Master badge.
I figured it would count the “single AoE blast” as just Kira’s laser, so I thought I’d ask. Or is this just another Dirty Bomb glitch? Has anyone gotten Explodydendron with the laser?

i think so too.
but ive gotten 8 player teamwipe in chapel spawn before and not getting the badge sooo…
maybe its very buggy.
Do you mean with “single AoE blast” when you spawn a laser directly ontop of someone?
You see the icon of an airstrike.
Maybe they are two different things so if you had those in the kill feed that could explain why you didn’t receive the Exploydendron badge.

I don’t think it will count if you killed 6 people by moving the laser around. However, if you killed six people just by calling in the laser, then you should get the Explodydendron badge.
I managed to got it once with Kira’s laser if I remember correctly (…Or was it Blast Master ?). I suspect that you can only get it if you manage to kill those 5 people quick enough, like in a 1-2 second time span.
Got Explody once on Chapel offense (like all of my other ones…). I also got a 7 man teamwipe on Dockyard, but alas, no badge…
Hmm, interesting. I never knew the icon was different.
That’s probably what it counts though, seems a bit OP if it were just the full laser
That’s something i never knew about Kira, however now im curious how this would work for Stoker since he doesn’t really have an inital(hope thats spelt right) explosion.

I’d assume so, considering if you walk into the fire the kill icon is still fire, unlike the laser which slows an airstrike at first, and then the laser symbol. I’m curious though.
Sorry for necroing this, but I just got an Explodydendron badge with Kira’s laser on last stage Chapel. Just wanted to let you guys know that it is indeed possible.
Who the hell is sweetCollum? ParamountGasoline? I don’t see their names in the thread. What witchcraft is this?
SweetColumn is Gato and ParamountGasoline is Lord Cactus I guess. Those were names before the switch from nexon
The days where new accounts would get random names and where we waged war with bots.
Also anyone find out what stokers kill icon would look like besides fire or is that it?

I have tested this and have it recorded at least 5 times but i couldn’t bother to check how many seconds and miliseconds it needs.
You need to laser 5+ people in less than 1.5 or maybe 2 seconds to get the badge. The icon is the normal laser icon.
Also if you kill 5+ people using 2 Artillery strikes simultaneously, it won’t count. You need 5+ with a single artillery strike.
Also you can get explodydendron badge from every explosion: strikes, mines, stickies, martyrdom, nades, and even objective bomb. (tested it myself). It doesn’t work for Stoker/Thunder.
None of them is buggy.

I noticed this a while after I posted this thread actually. Just took more time playing kira to figure it out, lol
