Arty, because I like burst rifles over full-auto Skyhams, and HERE COMES ARTY!

Kira when I wanna poke my friend I often play with/against, he bloody scared of lasers out of howhere :stuck_out_tongue:

Sir Stoker when Underground, nuff said

Frogger when I feel I want shut off my upper brain and go pew-pew

Fletcher - Lol
Sparks- My second main before I was good with Fletcher. Used to play with her competitively and somehow have a 5.3 kill/min score with her???
Skyhammer- Incase everyone is really bad at throwing strikes.

Nader:
Good merc for opening up those moments where you have a stalemate.

Bushwacker/Proxy (Still don’t know who I like the most so I use them alternately):
For completing the objectives. If we need an extra engineer then I can help my team.

Sawbonez (aka the one I usually have to play since a lot of teams where I join don’t have a medic):
He’s my main merc. Getting people up as fast as I can and healing those who need it. I just like the idea I’m helping the team by supporting them in combat. :slight_smile:

Sparks - Because “any fool can destroy; it takes genius to heal.” But in all seriousness I choose Sparks simply because of how much fun she is to play and how well I seemed to pick her up. I used to play a LOT of Unreal Tournament insta-gib, and thus hip-fire laser rifles are kinda my ‘thing’, haha. I always feel the need to run a medic in my squad; plus, what’s more fun than an endless zombie army while insta-gibbing scrubs? :wink:

Fletcher - My absolute “go to” engineer. Again, pretty much picked this sexy Nigerian due to how quickly I adapted to his play-style. Sticky bombs just seemed second nature as I was able to pull off some pretty good plays right off the bat, not to mention I love running the objectives, so an engineer is absolutely required for my squad.

Nader - Occasionally subbed for Stoker or Arty if I need fire-support instead of assault, but she has some fantastic fire-power and a good arsenal of weaponry, it’s hard to go wrong. I just all-round love this merc :slight_smile:

  1. Fletcher - Cause I want to maximize fun in playing Dirty Bomb + It’s good to have an engineer in squad

  2. Skyhammer/Kira - Depends on wether I feel like playing with Semi-auto AR or Full-auto AR, but both of mercs have “unlimited” ammo… Nice to have those

  3. Merc for mission/Fragger/Sparks:

    • Merc for mission: Obviously for credits
    • Fragger: If I want to play offensively
    • Sparks: If I want to play deffensively

Slot One: Redeye. Has never left since he was released, and there’s no way he ever will. Pretty much the only merc that I was hyped for to any degree, because he seemed to me the kind of person I would be. So he stays, because hell, if you’re gonna main a merc why not one that you hardly see played?
Slot Two: Alternates between Thunder and Arty, depending on the map, this used to be the slot for my medic choice (Sparks) but in all honesty the Revivr felt too cheap to be used at the time it was able to be tap fired, so she got dropped, and I just play without a medic now.
Slot Three: Proxy, otherwise Vassili, or the merc I currently have a mission for.
This is effectively my ‘free slot’, the one I drop a merc I feel like playing at the time, or have a mission to get Exp with. I won’t necessarily play said merc if its one that I really dislike playing (Fragger/Bushwhacker/Rhino), but for a free 500-1000 credits I can give up a slot. Otherwise I run Proxy/Vassili, because you can never go wrong with a fast Objective Specialist, and Vassili is there for the ‘Vassili Bois’ gameplay with @HonourBound and @Cooks2826 since if you’re going to have one MLG quickscope jump shooting Vassili, why not have three?

It depends on the map but I’m always maining Sparks so…

In attack:

Just wana point out, i’m lazy and want value of everything i do in game.
I never expect the majority of my team-mates to do anything, cus they never do.

I only play objective non-compeditive. I always look for a min lvl 10 matches but they are sometimes empty.

Bushwacker, works great on attacking Chapel/Underground, and overall a great guy for defence .
The turret is litteraly a gun and a sencor at the same time. You always have control of the routes that the enemy often take to flank while you yourself focus is defending the main objective.

Once in a while you get kills whit the turret but that rarely happens if you don’t learn to cover it.

Defending:
Skyhammer( Any map that have an EV) / Stoker ( Maps that don’t have an EV)
Why the **** would you not play skyhamer when defending from the Ev if you already have 1-2 medics in your team? It’s like the laziest class ever, just chill at a safe spot and peek now and then to get some headshots/kills and when the Ev gets repaired, BAM it goes down again cus you threw the airstike.

Attacker:
Stoker, since i’ve never botherered to learn how to time the fragger granade and i hate to scream for ammo all the dam time. I decided to use stoker. Great counter against aura stations. Super easy exp cus of the ammo station.

Aura, If you feel the need to play as a medic but still dont want to bother humping your teammates 24/7 so that they wont die? Auras healingstation solves that problem!!

Blishlok is great, atleast when it comes to making headshots.

Edit: Any class that have an AoE clear makes Aura sad . :neutral:

Stoker - There is always that one moment when a whole team will rush a long corridor,
and you will throw a moly in there, and watch them burn with this evil laugh. Plus you give ammo. But you burn people to death first.

Sawbonez - Because you always need a real medic that comes help you out, not a Sparks that thinks she is a 360 noscope mlg pro sniper or an Aura that will, at most, point you the direction of her healing station.
Real medics take bullets to save the ass of their mates

Nader or Bushybushy - Nader for the lolz, Bushybushy for the obj.

Sawbonez - This is the one merc that never leaves my team.
I once tried to replace him, but it just felt wrong.
All around godlike merc, and always useful to the team.

Vassili - for when my team is useless, and I have to be the team.
Kinda sad that I can’t make heads explode the same way I used to, but whatever, he’s still one of the best mercs.

Stoker - Probably the most fun merc to play.
Strong area denial ability and good guns.
Looks badass, and sounds weird af.

Slot 1: Support
Skyhammer: overall solid merc, no need to beg or walk half the map for ammo, great action skill (albeit not on all maps).
Stoker: ditto, except his action skill is for more crowded indoors areas.

Slot 2: Medic or Assault
Phoenix: best medic imho. Gives the option to support your team or go solo.
Nader: has the best catch phrases and is a lot of fun to play overall.

Slot 3: Engineer
Proxy: lightning fast for flanking opponents to give them the WTF-moment.
Bushwacker: my default engineer for defending on Execution maps.

Other mercs: whenever a mission comes up. Having lots of fun with my Cobalt Kira lately.

I hardly ever play Recon mercs.

Slot 1: Medic
Sawbonez/Aura - Depending on the map and/or gamemode, my 2 main medics. Sawbonez is better on offense (and sometimes defense) and has more durability, but I got my first gold for Aura and I seem to pop heads better with her Blishlok. I also love some moving healing station tactics!

Slot 2: Assault
Fragger - For now this slot is reserved for Fragger, but once I get Nader they will most likely rotate depending on mood, gamemode and map. Fragger is the easiest to play imo and also the easiest to use when I feel like I got to carry my team. Stopping Power and high HP makes him easy to use and get those kills

Slot 3: Engineer
Proxy - First Engy I bought and still loving her! Fast moving for some sneaky tactics and a good SMG for when business gets serious. Also like her mines, both on offense and on defense.

Now any of these can be swapped by other mercs when a mission demands it, but these remain my main LU as of now

Fletcher - Because of sunglasses, also is fast
Aura/Phoenix - I like to play the medic, also both are fast.
Dunno - I’m really having issue finding my 3rd.

I’d put there Proxy or Bushwhacker but… another engie?
I’d put there Spark but… another medic ?
I’d put there Nader but I’ve not that fun with nades. Yes useful but, not totally satisfied.
Maybe Stoker ? Yes maybe, I like him but, 400 speed feels damn slow if you’re used to faster merc. also the cooldown sometimes get way too long for fast paced matches.
I could put there Arty, I like Arty; Wish he would be more useful indoor.

NO: Vassili, Rhino, Phantom, Fragger, Thunder, Skyhammer, Sawbonez (rock solid medic but I don’t like play him, sorry)

Maybe I need your help, or a doctor.
