Explain this event cases drop please

Hey there! I just opened near 250 Dickens Equipment cases today’s morning and guess how many event cards I’ve got? RIGHT, NONE! I’ve expected at least 2 from 200+ cases… Damn this was the only drop:

I believe event case drop has ended. So you can’t get free event case anymore
edit: title about cases, content about cards.
Yes, it’s bad RNG and youre not the only one.

If you want a decent explanation : it’s called “0.3% chances” and “RNG”.

0.3% chance, it’s in theory three dickens loadouts on average if you open a thousand of those crates. And it’s not even a guarantee since it’s, once again, totally random. Those drop results are not surprising.

Also… 250 cases and got cobalt… guess how many cobalts I’ve gotten from equipment cases? I’ll give you a hint: zero… from somewhere near 1500 cases I would believe…

Expecting something doesn’t change the outcome of RNG. At 250 you have about 50% chance of getting one card.

@OP I don’t understand your frustration. You received 1 cobalt out of 200. Being in your shoes I would celebrate. I haven’t received any cobalts yet out of regular cases.

Sorry but cobalt worth nothing for be because it’s craftable. Of course it’s always nice to get free cobalt, but limited time drop cards which are not craftable, is 1000 times better. Cobalt is obtainable at anytime. Any merc, just save some money:)

I open around 500 cases and got 2 event cards. You need to grind more xD

I opened 300 Containment War cases, and got 0 CW cards.
I opened 50 Dickens cases, and got 0 WTD cards.
I played ~30 hours (over both events) and got 0 Event cases.

I don’t recall how many I opened, but I did open a bunch…I spent more than enough time in game to earn the Snowman trinket, only noteworthy cards I got were a lousy gold nader and a horrible event rhino card.

I never got a single guaranteed event case drop.

In all honesty I got so used to just buying cases whenever i had enough for 5 or 6 at a time, i forgot that the guaranteed case drop was even a thing.
I didn’t get a case from the CW event and I didn’t get one from the dickens event.

I didn’t care about WtD cases, got 0.

Ive ran a thorough analisys, with several element methods, and concluded the exact type of RNG the droprates and case rates had, which is pre-destined-sudden-intercourse-of-self, or just generally called “FAK YU”. Scientific term! :wink:
