Experience between campaign and online?

I’ve gotten curious about how the experience will work. I’ve tried searching the forums, but it seems no one talked about this yet.

Will the experience earned in Campaign be some what similar to the amount earned on Multiplayer?
There was a game I played recently that had a similar concept, except the experience earned on Co-Op was a fraction of what was earned on Multiplayer, which was a slight buzzkill. It got me curious if Brink will be the same way, or if it will almost be 1:1.

XP earned and saved is identical among singleplayer, co-op, and multiplayer.

That’s awesome!
Thanks for the info.

I might have made this up in my head, but I thought xp between single player was different with different bot difficulties. Only hard bots offered the same xp as multi-player?

It’s probably different in that XP is related to the amount of damage you do. If you kill an easy bot with less health you get less XP.

But it’s still the same between SP and MP if you set up a MP server with easy bots.

I’m sure the harder the opponents (bot wise) the greater the XP bonus to prevent people mass-killing newb bots to gain levels before they ever went online. Although, anything earned on a character does transfer equally to any mode.

Who cares if they mass-kill bots without needing to l2p? They’re only hurting themselves in the end, since it’s not exactly hard to figure out which player is the retard.

This was discussed in a thread a while back, but I dont think splash ever commented on it.

They call it “Mingleplayer”!
