If they want to make it even halfway viable they will need to disable the special abilities. The amount of explosive spam just makes the mode an utter chore to play.

I absolutely love this mode. It’s quick, fun, and easy to get learn. Having a great time.
Really enjoying it so far, playing a lot of phantom, had a great set of matches where the team was working as a group and I’d check each corner for us with cloak before we’d move forward.
As for the highest level getting the C4, I’m not sure what people’s issue with it is, they’re probably the most likely to know what they’re doing. If you’re the highest and don’t want to carry, drop it and ask someone else to carry. If you’re not the highest and want to carry, just ask the carrier if they mind handing it off for a round or two. I know as Phantom I usually tried to get one of them to carry it for me.
I really hate this game mode, i only play it because of the credit bonus. I want Capture the Flag instead.

I will say that in every execution thread. Finish first your own unique game (stopwatch), fix glitches, bugs and balance, and then spend dev resources on other game modes. While it is fun, I don’t believe it ever brings enough players=monetization. Other games do the “plant the bomb” thing better, don’t try to compete.

I played a game of this last test weekend. Felt all kinds of wrong. Shoehorning game modes in is never a good idea. Why not put that time into coming up with something fresh? Or at least with a different spin on the idea.
I don’t agree. The number of game modes is now very limited, as is the number of maps. There should definitely be more maps and modes to play on, to attract new players but as well to keep the old ones interested.
Execution is imho a lot of fun and has 2 good maps. I hope these will be released permanently soon.
I’m not a big fan of this game mode. And the problem I have with it is that it takes away valuable resources because it requires new maps that only work for this game mode. Now if they were to add in more game modes that could use the same maps, like perhaps domination, that’d be great!
I’d like to see more game modes using the already existing maps, possibly with some minor tweaks to make for better flow.
I’m fine with having two different map pools like we do now, but I just want to see them get used more for modes that I would actually play so that I too get to experience and enjoy these maps.
I didn’t like it too much in the previous test weekends, but now it’s much better. The maps have had their design improved quite a bit.

Pretty much this. Played it for the first time today and it was incredibly boring.
Just feels like wasted time on maps for a bad game mode, time that could be spent tweaking currently existing maps and bringing out new ones - which we sorely need.
I’m curious if we’ll get something as direct as capture the flag, since to a point missions like Bridge use that element along side others. I wonder, would people rather a full on actual capture the flag, or something that mixes game modes like we have in the current Objective/SW maps? Or even a phase capture the flag, where you don’t just score points for flag captures, but each capture will progress the map to the next point, until a “win” phase. Maybe with some kind of tug of war stucture.
Idk, maybe it’d just get messy. I’m a fan of seeing innovation in games though, we’ve all seen the same modes done to death in games that a fresh attempt can be nice.
