Execution Mission

(Grave_Knight) #1

Anyone else feel that 10 wins for a 500 Cred mission is a bit steep? I’m guessing 750 is 15 wins, and 1000 is 20 wins (or I hope that’s what it is).

Why I feel like 10 wins might be steep.

Well, I mean, it’s kinda just like “win one/two objective/stopwatch mode” missions. You essentially either way always have to win something. Of course changing the Execution missions to winning one/two games shouldn’t really do much either. Dunno, just threw some ideas out there.

(Grave_Knight) #3

They removed the WIN missions from Objective and Stopwatch some time ago. Now it’s XP based.

750 credits is play 25 rounds…

(Grave_Knight) #5

You’re kidding me, right? That’s minimum 4 games. If you’re lucky.
Apparently SD can’t help but have just one mission that needs to be X’d out.

Sorry, made a mistake, it’s play 25.

I finished my first “Win 10 rounds” mission and didn’t got the credits at the end.
In the future i will delete the missions like the competitive missions.

That’s a bit more manageable. At least that’s 4 games maximum. I get the impression that the 500 Credits mission was suppose to be play 10 rounds.

Yeah I’ve already deleted some of these mission. I had ‘play 30 rounds of execution’ nah I’m OK mate…

Here’s the new comp/side objective mission for us all.

(Grave_Knight) #11

Wow, that’s only 5 missions maximum. I seriously think the 500 credit mission is suppose to be “Play 10 Rounds” now. Even the 1000 credit mission is easier than it. In the ideal scenario you can finish the 750 and 1000 credit missions in 3 games (that’s would be 36 rounds total).

No, seems like it’s actually just an oversight. Both the 750 and 1000 credit version is easier to accomplish than the 500 credit version.

@“Grave Knight”
Yeah I just don’t find execution interesting. I played the test weekends and even managed to get a game with a Dev and ask some questions but I just can’t force myself to play it. I much prefer casual pub games with friends in a game mode that won’t punish me for having a below par team.

I have to agree with this. While there are a few intense, final stand moments or game-changing skirmishes, those kinds of conflicts just seem to far and few with the average pub players I come across. Execution is really only fun if the teams are of equivalent skill level.

@derpypenguinz19
Indeed. I played a few games on the test weekends with Faraleth, feley and a few other friends and I know these guys pretty well and we work pretty good together so it was alot of fun back then and the feeling you get when you clutch a 3v1 cannot be matched in stopwatch or objective. But it requires a very unique set of events to lead up to that and the lack of a solid team means that is goes from almost impossible to ‘never ever, ever in a million years’. It’s a shame at the end of the day because I feel SD have put a lot of time and effort into getting g this game mode right and they have, but they are being let down by poor balance and matchmaking.

(MarsRover) #15

Yesterday I got “win 10 rounds” for 500. Just now I got “win 13 rounds” for 750. So it’s probably win 16 for 1000.

Not a fan of these missions. Assuming 90 seconds per round including warmup etc, you’re stuck for ~37 minutes for a “play 25 rounds” 750 mission. Doesn’t seem cost effective, especially since you get less XP overall because enemies don’t respawn, so the remaining 2 missions probably won’t be completed in this time.

(Edzer) #16

Kind of odd they implemented this win mission, first they remove the win missions from objective and stopwatch and now they add em again for execution mode.

(DMaster2) #17

Agreed. Execution missions will be an auto-delete for me, i’ll only play that mode to get the 500 daily credits and that’s it.

(FireWorks) #18

Sorry but winning a round is nothing that hard… A match consists of 7 to 12 rounds. You can still lose the match and get your missions done. Whats the big inconsistency?

Sounds like complaining for the reason of complaining

(neverplayseriou) #19

this is what I get for completing execution missions :C

…? There are two different Execution missions? Weird they remove all the Win mission from Objective and Stopwatch but put Win mission in for Execution.
