The melee finishing move gives you quite a bit more XP, and if it connects it will always kill the enemy. Yes, as we’ve said previously, it takes quite a few bullets to kill somebody that’s down, but the trade-off is that you can do that from a safer distance.

There is also a bit of a ‘wind-up’ time for the finishing move as well, as we want your friends to have a moment to try and save you before the hammer comes down.

Only what I described. We experimented with slide fatalities (we never called them that, I’m just saying it now because it sounds cool), but it made it too easy to finish somebody off, while making yourself a low profile target at the same time.
