Excited for Dockyard?

Now that testing week is over do you guys feel hyped or not for the new map?

It’s a new map and it looks to be a good one, after some tweaking. I quite liked it even without the textures and with the imbalance in places. Many flanks, much fun.

I thoroughly enjoy EV maps and seeing another one in the works keeps me keen for this map.

Yep. Had some flaws but that’s what test weekends are for anyway.

I mean, I guess? It was a complete let down last time, and even with 8 a side felt too big most of the time.

So many issues and I can only hope they listen to the feedback and make it a positive experience for 5v5.

I’m excited, but I know they will change the map for the worse.

They’ll most likely remove a lot of the map as well as add more invisible walls. Dockyard, along with Dome are some good steps in the right direction, but Dome needs more tweaking and Dockyard needs less. I loved how vertical it was and how extensive. There were a good amount of jumps, but more would definitely be nice.

The map was just very good and really enjoyable. I can only hope they won’t turn it into a linear clusterfuck like all of the other maps. Dockyard has a lot of routes and options which made it my favorite map.

Dome could be right there with it if it wasn’t for the lack of optimization (most people complain about lag on Dome, regardless of how good your rig is or low your settings, it’s there). Dome never received the rework it deserves. They added a useless route to the right side in the attackers spawn on the first objective. It serves almost no purpose (unless being spawn camped). Would be nice to see more routes and less invisible walls in the actually battle zones on Dome.

I’m really not an expert on the map, because the matches I played never got past the second straight stretch on the EV’s run. If they fix the overly long killing field… Ahem… EV track, I’ll be fine with it.

It might have just been unbalanced teams, but I was freaking killing it as Aura, even my first time playing xD
Lots of great spots for my med station and whatnot both attacking and defending. Ended up carrying my team in the end x3

I’m waiting for it but since I wasn’t playing the game when Dockyard prototype weekend thingie happened, I just don’t have any idea what the expect from the map so I couldn’t possibly be excited… and of course, it being continuation to Dome ain’t really helping.
