exactly how do u apply more than one shader to a brush;

(TombardieR) #1

think i said it all in the topic subject, any help much appreciated. it is possible isn’t it?

(lennyballa) #2

jep, just copy the texture and give it another name :wink:

sorry I don’t really understand ur answer. I was under the impression that u could texture something and add more shaders to it somehow, but i don’t know how. where do u mean to copy the texture to?

If you mean texturing the individual faces of the brush with different shaders, you do this by selecting faces instead of the brush - use ctrl + shift + left mouse to select faces, or just ‘paint’ the face using ctrl + shift + middle mouse. If you want to keep the alignment of the shader currently applied to the face, but assign it a new shader, use only shift + middle mouse.

ooh i tought he ment, two of the same textures on a brush, but both use another shader?

(TombardieR) #6

hello again, what i was actually trying to figure out was if u can overlay shaders(say wave deformation or alpha transparent layer) on ur textures in radiant or do u have to write a shader file with everything in one shader

(Irrelevant) #7

You have to write a new shader.
