I just logged into an empty server and ran some tests with the De .50, PDP and Selbstadt .40.
DE .50 base damage is 20
Selbstadt .40 base damage is 15
PDP base damage is 45
When shooting at a players foot with the DE. 50 it dealt 16 damage. When shooting at a players body it dealt 20. When shooting at a players hand it dealt 20. When shooting at a players head it dealt 40.
When shooting at a players foot with the Selbstadt .40 it dealt 11 damage. When shooting at a players body it dealt 15. When shooting at a players hand it dealt 15. When shooting at a players head it dealt 30.
When shooting at a players foot with the PDP it dealt 36 damage. When shooting at a players body it dealt 45. When shooting at a players hand it dealt 45. When shooting at a players head it dealt 90.
Shooting at the arms and hands dealt the normal base damage of the gun. Only when firing at the lower legs or feet did the damage get reduced. In each case where damage was reduced it was lowered by roughly 20%. In our testing the Selbstadt .40 damage was actually reduced by 27%. It seems like this may be a locked value and not a calculated one for balancing purposes.
Thank you very much for the experiment Ardez!
So the only part that damage is reduced is under knee parts huh. 20% reduction for every even number base damage.
But the part about the odd number base damage reduction, and exact digit calculation can you do me a favor about it more?
-1 damage more reduce for odd number damage seems quite unfair.
maybe we should try testing with guns like Dreiss(27), K-121(17) or Kek-10,MP400,MK.46(11)
and also digits like 18 damage(Stark and Blishlok), if 20% reduction is right, its digit is 14.4.
I really want to know if this number is calculated round off(15), or round half down(14).
I have no DB friends to ask for dummy for me.
anyway, thank you very much again!
