Evolving Mercs and Robot Limbs

Discussed the idea of Proxy getting robot legs if she ever stepped on her own mines and the devs replied:

Instead of losing an eye, Aimee was going to mess Proxy’s arm up so much she’d need a replacement.

With bio engineer Turtle coming around, do you think any of the current Mercs are gonna gain robot enhancements or other changes as the game evolves? Unlike similar titles like Overwatch, Battleborn, and Paladins, Dirty Bomb is open to evolving their current characters and changing them completely like they did with Fragger, Aimee, and Sawbonez.

thunder will get a bionic eye making him immune to his own conc grenades (or at least the flash)

Fragger wil get a bionic arm for even better pineapple throwing, reaching throwing speeds of 100 miles an hour.

and we are going to get a merc after turtle and javelin that is basically a robot or an android.

We should’ve make Vassili as the culprit back then.

Anyway, I really look forward to character evolutions (or progress, if you could say that) in the game. Maybe more community/story-driven events that makes the mercs got something happened to themselves individually.

Like Arty losing his helmet, Phoenix’s prosthetic feet is broken (then replaced by new one), Stoker destroyed his mask, Phantom’s gear is broken, anything would be great!
