Everyone advertise Brink

They want more people interested? More sales?

It’s very simple, make different gameplay modes to attract more then one type of player.

Lets face it, the type of play that Brink has is only appealing to a certain niche of players.

They should have search and destroy with or without respawning, TDM, CTF among many others.

If it did, the sales would multiply by several folds.

At the moment you can’t recommend anyone to play on the 360 without a quick heads up about the lag.

Now last night out of about 7 matches, I only had to leave 1. But only being 4v4 players (which sometimes ends up as 6v2 or 7v1) is kind of lame.

I can’t wait for the lag to be fixed and have full 8v8 player battles.

My friends and I have Tuesday Night Fights every week and we typically play Left 4 Dead 2. We just started playing Brink and while it is nice to actually have six person co-op against bots, the game is just a mess. We’re all waiting for the first patch. If they don’t fix the lag in general versus or add some adequate party system lobby, we’re going back to Left 4 Dead 2.

The thing is, we all enjoy the game when it actually works. Last night, we had some good teamwork going on which is pretty amazing for us. They need to fix this game sooner than later.

And no, I don’t recommend the game to anyone in its current state.

I can’t recommend Brink to my friends, for the sole reason they’re my friends and I wouldn’t want them to part with their money for the game in the state it’s in.

Once the major issues have been fixed I probably will, but in the meantime I’d feel quilty if a friend spent money on this game purely on my say so.

edit: I bought this game expecting more, but I don’t regret buying it, I love playing it and I’m an ex-ET / ET:QW / RTCW player so knew what I was getting, more or less, but I know many people who’ve never played those games, people from COD and DOD:S, and I don’t think Brink compares very well to those games at the moment, in terms of value for money that is.

Not entirely true but some of us still have hope.

Once sound issue, lag issue, and browser is fixed, it’ll compared very well to anything out on the FPS market lately. At that point it’ll be safe to push for the game.
The sooner this situation happens, the easier it will be. I’m afraid it’ll be too long before game is advertisable again
