maybe talespin would be up for taking over
Evaczone: Dirtybomb Competitive Cup!
not testing til day of tournament? debug team working as intended.
If GST can fill in for potty, I’d expect all the previously signed up teams to sign up again for gst’s cup. I know we will be.
It should be fixed in time for this weekend if you guys are interested in moving it. Let me know

Good news, gst800 has taken over the cup so it will still happen, thanks for helping
I’ll be avail for casting/streaming if needed. Hopefully Pixel will join meh.
If you’re looking to make it up to us, might I suggest pushing to release dedicated/listen server software to the public? I feel this is relevant because letting users run their own servers would:
- Make it much more accessible for the community to organize competitive events like this, which generate hype for the game.
- Make it much easier to setup pick-up games (wouldn’t have to go through matchmaking).
- Allow for more variety of gameplay experiences, e.g. friendly fire, team size, merc restrictions, etc.
- Allow anyone to setup/change servers without needing to bother any Nexon/SD employees.
- Avoid the whole EU/US West/US East/hubris debacle (probably).
- Give teams the time to comb over maps, experiment, develop strats, and practice trickjumps without interference from pubs or time limits.
- Promote an open atmosphere and generate goodwill with the community.
I understand you guys probably have like 892374981 other things you’re working on, but as the DB competitive scene starts to ramp up I really feel like this is a key missing feature.

This.
I agree on all points, this would be very important for the competitive scene
@“Sagan on Roids” Agree. It’s a feature that should already be in the game imo. We’ve been pushing. Hope to have some good news on this soon…hopefully will have it sorted by summer.
“soon” SD’s favorite word because they can’t come up with a concrete timeline for anything.
