Some of the performance changes seem to have had a big impact as well.
Evaczone BETA Cup {Sunday 29th June}
ya thats why i was asking. Cant believe my acc did not increase. It feels much better. And my overall acc is still at 49%. Something strange going on XD
Thanks for data Anti!
[QUOTE=Anti;503827]To look at it another way here is how Acc% and HS% increase KPM rate.

In the case of these two graphs I wouldn’t personally say there is an increase trend or just any trend. I’d say it’s a shotgun distribution, even if excel draws the linear one like that - needs more data to be sure.
thnx Anti for more stats!
i am glad to see overal increase in acc% 45-46% is a nice for realy good aimers. but with more performance patches this will go even further. so 50% for top players is possible, i think
I’ll be grabbing them from the latest patch tomorrow. Here’s what they looked like back in Dec 2013:

Seems having 1 merc limit has changed what people play. Is this still the vision you want at SD? To have a 1 merc limit or something different.
People moaned like ends of a bell because they couldn’t use 2-4 sawbones. Bugs me to this day how people can feel so strongly about using the same mercs over and over again :z
I don’t like that 1 merc rule. Restricting “classes” works much better. 1 Soldier, 1 COps thats enough.
Medic for competition is still the mostly played class and atm with only 1 overall useful medic you normally always would play 2 sawbones…

Sam generic response everyone that wants to play competitive who wants loads of sawbones. How can you decide to limit 1 heavy which is 3 mercs but not restrict more than 1 sawbones?
Once they nerf sawbones, which is coming, you’ll be asking to restrict a new type of medic who is super powerful. Fact is, you either have a restriction like this OR none at all.

thats not true. One merc rule means u are always able to play 3 Soldiers. Our tactic for London Bridge is to have 3 soldiers around that ****ing EV with 2 Medics. No chance anyone can get past them! And i believe if more teams come in even more will see that playing with more soldiers is most effective. So like in every FPS MP Shooter before u have to restrict those overpowered classes to make it fair. No way to get past that!
That tactic wouldn’t work very well though as they would quite quickly run out of ammo. Throw a covert against the heavy classes and they wouldn’t stand a chance.
I Think what it boils down to is the amount of effort you want to put into a game to get god at it. I can see that you are not willing to work hard to stay at the top, you expect to be at the top therefore you need the rules and style of game play to fir the way you play. As someone who is thinking about more than himself I can tell you that if your rules were to go ahead you wouldn’t need the rules for very long and you’d be back to square one waiting for the next competitive FPS.
This is from work but with 3 soldiers what do you do against a strong sniper? Big heads are easy pick gibs
lol so unbelievable not true XD Bitey could not sniper as out on white chapel and thinks he can do it on London Bridge First stage. rofl XD
Don’t lump me in as having a large ego, I didn’t say anything about myself being able to snipe 3 heavies. I’m being serous when I say how do you expect to compete with a 3 solly/2 medic against a powerful snipers. The headbox is a gigantic beachball, and you’ll have no AOE damage support. The abilities you’ll utilize is a some greandes, flashes, and a minigun. You’d be outranged by all the arty, redeye, and Vassil players who would likely have a pretty easy time getting the shots off on those larger bodies. You’d have a very serious range disadvantage in alot of combat zones and without the engineer it’d take quite the bit of effort to get that EV online.
I never make any claims about being a stellar sniper
this is the first game where I’ve ever used a scope before! Scopes suck, need ironsight/reddot for vasssiiiillii
Going to close this thread now as it’s well off topic. You can have your tactical debates on the battlefield
