EV Glitch

Jumped on the MG and it wouldn’t fire. Died and came back to it and these were taken.

Productive use of time?

They know if the bug is known or not, they can do all the policing if they so choose. See bug, report bug. I don’t have time to sift through 29 (current) pages of bug reports because god forbid there is a duplicate. Worst case scenario, they ignore my post. Posting like this turns people off from wanting to bug report directly effecting the end result (and makes you look pretentious). Nothing personal, its just been bothering me.

Are you saying cross-referencing to existing threads is a bad thing?

Seems pretty sensible not to have duplicate reports to me, for if Rex knows it’s already reported then why not save SD some time by linking to said reports.

Duplicate reports are going to happen and posting links to the other reports after the fact doesn’t prevent anything. Like I said, it comes across poorly to those just trying to help and discourages them from reporting because of fear of the forum police.

Cross-referencing seems irrelevant to me since they have their own methods of reporting besides looking through pages of forum posts. But if this is truly just cross-referencing (which I doubt it is), then maybe just say “Yeah I found that too: [LINK]”. Intentions from just the links can only be inferred and if I’m taking it the wrong way (which I doubt I am), you can bet other people are too. If you’ve got the time to sift through pages of reports, you’ve got time to type 5 words to not be misinterpreted.
