After seeing how this game has developed over the last few months I have really wanted to get some competition going again. While activity is picking up it still isn’t what it once was, but early signs are promising. I have decided to get a Europe vs America game up and running because it is nice to see so many North American players finally sticking with the game. Anyway, here is how this game will work!
DATE: Saturday 24th May
TIME: 20:00 BST / 21:00 CEST
FORMAT: 5on5 Best of 3 maps. One map on the European + one on the NA. Decider will be decided by coin flip if needed.
MAP POOL: Whitechapel, Waterloo, Trainyard + Alt_Bridge (Teams to pick)
How will teams be picked?
Team America will be hand picked by INFERNO. He has some great knowledge of their player base and has shown eager in organising draft games in my absence.
Team Europe will be picked by myself. While I have been away for a while, my knowledge of the current players is still up to scratch. I know I am willing to give everyone a shot via try outs over the next few weeks.
I would like to add that neither captain will be playing for their team. They are to pick their team and co-cast with PixelTwitch. The VODs will go up on a separate thread after the game has taken place. This is to help provide a decent background on each team and give the casters knowledge of the players playing. We will be opening spectator slots on the match server as well as giving anyone wanting to hear the chance to listen to the cast live. I hope to see a close contest and some nice game play. Who will participate? Who will prevail? So many questions but only TIME will tell!!
