EU Server location change.

@RazielWarmonic
Hello Raziel. Is it possible to explain why the location of many EU servers was changed from the fairly middle location (I believe Amsterdam) to Sweden, a much norther location? I am 100% sure it’s Sweden since I met 2 players from there after the update with pings of 4 and 0. My ping doubled on EU and iw even worst than on RUS servers and it became noticeable, and I’m sure it got even worse from people from Southern Europe like Spain, Italy or Portugal.

how do you assume they changed the server location, only based on ping? I hope that’s not the case though !

Well, I had a 24-32 on EU for months, now I played 2 games with a 60-80.

EU servers are in multiple locations. None of them have been moved. :smile:

Was the amount or ratio of Middle-European and North-European servers changed? I never ever joined servers in EU with more than 40 ping, and today I unluckily get on them multiple times.

Well something is definitely wrong with some of them. I used to get 30-40 ping on the Swedish ones and now I cannot find any servers with less than 50 ping.

It’s pretty easy to figure out exactly where the data center is that is hosting the servers using windows resource monitor or go oldschool with netstat. That’s better than going off of ping for certain.
