Decrypting takes a while and will probably look like it gets stuck at 54%

Advice - If you have steam open like i did then close it down, let it update and the Brink files will unlock. Aye just waiting at 54% now.

Is it just me or is it taking forever to decrypt the files? Been decrypting now for over 25minutes and still stuck at 70%.

Decrypted (pretty much less than 30 secs) and ready to play. Just had a quick blast just to check online works okay and it does. Can’t wait till I get back from work tonight!

Wonder why its taking so long then, its not like I have a slow internet connection. 30mins and 75%… come on seriously.

Mine was stuck at 54% then jumped to 90% and finished quickly after that.

Well 3 hours later can’t play Brink, Files decrytped but game crashes on launch. Started tech help threads on both SD and Bethesda forums, tried launching game as administrator, reinstalled, deleted local content, downloaded again, verified files and successful so what is going on? hard not to get frustrated here I could have just gone to bed, might as well do that now since im unlikely to get any help till later today…

Took me about 6min to decrypt, 4min of which was spent at 54%
Just finished a 2h30 session and the only bug I encountered was the laggy server browser

try updating directX or just install dx9.0c

Dxdiag report shows I am currently running DirectX 10 is that bad? I already verified my files, steam says there fine. Will updating my Video cards Nividia drives help?

updating vid drivers is good, try install DX9.0c though if it’s not too much trouble, just a hunch I have

check events log and see if there’s an error
