i think i’ve burnt out the graphics card from overclocking my CPU too far. Waiting till my bro comes down/up from portsmouth so he can check, and need to save money for replacement parts if so.

Weird thought because it can still fraps and stuff, just can’t play any games

What are you getting low FPS? is that why you aren’t playing…

If so, have you checked for latest gfx drivers, made sure settings are all set to lowest (in the driver), turned off background running programs like Steam etc?

i checked drivers, all up to date. How do you check all the driver settings? (Im a nub). I never run any background programs when playing, tried it once with steam and went from 30-ish ping to 100+ -.-

It’s not just scope lag. I get max fps (120+) for 5 -> 40 mins, then 5 -> 20 fps (depending on the map) for 5 -> 15 mins. No consistency either, just completely random

sounds a bit like an autoupdater taking priority

might be onto something, just checking online and all the came out as either:

-Dust, the natural predator of the computer
-Drivers not updated
-Background programs, like autoupdaters

Gunna take a screw driver to my case when i can be bothered, and check whats taking up all my RAM’s

Erm well depends on your gfx card, but with my ATI i have CCC which allows me to tweak them and im sure nVidia will have the same option.

e.g:

But if i set all the sliders to quality, my fps can go from 400-500 to as low as 60fps which is what i use for recording movies…

Some of the shots in the most recent video from rubben seemed a little dark, and I didn’t care much for the part where the screen kept flashing black, didn’t seem to make any sense to have that there with the movie.

Also, the bits that there were several players from different teams in there, were those gather matches?
