etpub throwknife bug

I don’t want to spend time signing up at the etpub site, so I hope they’ll see this here:

When running, using “throwknife” (if your fps is around 5), you will stab yourself.
As we all know that throwing a knife at a close wall or the ground will make the “stab yourself” thing happen as well.

I checked the theory with setting my max fps to 5, running and throwing straight ahead, I was stabbed again and again.
…I am not too sure if this is something that will be looked at but stabbing myself due to an uncontrollable drop in fps is not what I expect to have happen and I do not think it involves any flavor of fun.

@anyone posting:

  • I play on a few different machines…so plz don’t tell me I need a new anything.

Experience learns that posting things on ETPub tracker stays unanswered in many cases… so if you really want an answer you can better post on their forums (in most non-critical cases) :wink: .

My experience tells otherwise[/quote]Well I guess all the tickets are read, but only the critical ones are answered… as an example look at the recent tickects (480 - 500)… many of them didn’t even get a response…

Well, hopefully someone else has mentioned it to them…

Otherwise…I could care less, I just won’t throw-knives while playing on that system.

If it were something vital…I would alert them.

no.

…on a 60+ player server: feuldump, with 2 teams spamming arty in the same area, nades, spammed everything else, 30+ guys running nearby and 20+ more in visual view…the fps dropped severely for about 3 or 4 seconds.( a system process prob. started just then as well. )
