Hi there!

Here is the beta version of my first map, ET_Office_b2.

There are no objectives cuz its an Team DeathMatch map based on cs_office from CounterStrike.

Well, the map may be nice but your screenshots are too bright or you can get ‘snowblind’ when walking around in there for too long…
Allso, there seems to be no lighting?
Sure this is a beta? :confused:

It doesnt look as if you used cualk, nor surface inspector. Is it a plain bsp compile? A light compile would make it look better, and no so bright. Good try for your first map, keep on mapping :slight_smile:

its seems a bit empty, textures reapeting on each other, maze looking map…

weird texture selection, thick brushes with lowres textures, which is bad aligned ( eg. tables ), absolutly no lighting, almost no entity…
sorry but you can’t call this more than early alpha

For your first map, a good effort. Some cleanup and you will have a decent final. Keep up the good work!

Good luck pulling out the bugs and putting the finishing touches on.

mmmhmm, thickness of tables shouldnt be hte same as walls and the legs… lots of little things like better construction could improve the map, also a bigger variety of textures

Imo remaking maps from other games is fairly unoriginal. And CS maps are from CS. :bored:
