etf question

K, I’ve come here because I haven’t been able to find any help on the ETF site, and I know that you guys will know what I am talking about.

I am trying to make a func_forcefield in etf that only allows the red team to pass through it in a downward direction. IE a rocket jump will not allow them to go back up through it. How can I set my pitch roll and yaw to allow this?

Second, how can I disable the default sound on the target_push that is used on cbases in the wind tunnels. I like the pushing effect I get, but I want it to be quiet.

Thanks in advance, let me know if you have further questions.

you really need to ask the ETF team about ETF entities. The ETF gamecode is a port of Q3F, so is no more related to ET than Q3 is. If they don’t answer you, you are going to have to figure it out for yourself. If there is an existing map that does what you want, I suggest opening that .bsp in an editior and looking at the entities.

Well. I have asked the etf team, and have yet to hear a reply. There are currently maps with forcefields in etf, but none with directional values. I figured since splashdamage had a hand in the creation of q3f, the creation of ET, and the creation of ETF, that I might try them. Sorry to be out of place.

Should be asked in the mapping forum.

Hasn’t a site related to Q3F entities been mentioned in the ETF forums?
I think the link pointed to the Q3F homepage http://www.q3f.com/
