This map must be finished. I’ve ordered vacation tickets to Transmitter Valley. The people at the travel bureau told me it is a very, very popular place to visit.

ya as axis this is a great map at start <3
in beta 1+2 the start was very hard for allies: playground for axis artillery and airstrike lamers, now axis have to work hard to keep the bridge under their control 
The castle terrain is being reworked right now, as well as the antenna tower. Work continues 
I worked today around 6 hours on a more detailed terrain inside the castle complex and a second way inside the tower to give more ways for the players to accomplish the mission. Also we are planning an objective-spawn-system, to make it easier to carry the Modkit into the castle.
Its going forward - but slowly. :moo:

I’ve just today finished doing the voiceovers for the map and will later today rewrite the script. trait0r is busy revamping the castle terrain. We made a pause for a few months but are back at it right now

That’s AWESOME to hear this project hasn’t been dropped!! I had a fear that you guys had abandoned the map and weren’t going to finish it.
I must say that Transmitter is one of the best maps I’ve played, it has some amazing choke points, lots of things for all of the different classes to do, good balancing between Axis and Allies, plus, the map looks great! 
I’d say that this map is as good as the stock maps, in fact, I’d say I’d rather play this map than a couple of the stock maps. 
Can’t wait for the next release! You guys have a launch date in mind?

Unbalanced for what side? I play on a stopwatch server and have seen the Allies win about half the time and the Axis win about half the time.
I was assuming the ‘spawn bug’ would be one of the fixes in the next release. 
Well, ‘when it’s done’ will be a great day for ET, in my opinion.

We found, that it is too easy to defend for the Axis.
Axis could easily defend the whole area in front of the castle with a sniper and 2 other good soldiers covering the paths leading inside the complex.
With the final release, the Axis will have a hard time on defending their objective.
And yes, the “spawnbug” at the Forest Hut, where only one player could spawn, is fixed.
The Forward Hut spawn is fixed when the Allies have blown the barricade.
Oh stop! I don’t want to tell too much too early.

You guys removed the MG from the serpentine barricade? I used to love getting rifle nade kills from whatever Axis thought they’d own the Allies by being on it. 
I also used to like when some Axis would recapture the hut as you’re brining the transmitter into the base, and Axis team would end up spawning at the hut so it would be a walk in the park to secure the transmitter.
Always good for a laugh at the end of the round when you see the chat full of “What noob captured the flag?!?”. Hehe. 
I really am looking forward to getting my grubby hands on your beta 3 of this map, should make for some more great firefights! 
There is still a MG at the barricade, it’s just not integrated into the barrier anymore. 
But like said, it’s much easier for the allies to win the map now, so it’s biased a little toward offense hopefully (though there are still some pretty evil choke points tehehe).
