I was playing your map for about one hour now and can’t say too much yet about gameplay and so on. My first impression is: Atmosphere is great and I love it moving around in this map. Sure, the terrain is somewhat angular but “scheiss drauf”, I want to play your map and don’t take screenshots to pin up 
Just played the map as axis on a 45 man server. It was great. It ran smoothly (as the betas).

I always miss the servers with more than 6-8 players on. So I havn’t played it with more than 4 players each side. :disgust:

Btw, the small “radio circles” should have been “mortarmeters” to help people using the mortar. But since we didn’t wanted to dictate where to sit down with the mortar, I just screwed it whilst making the new commandmap. Sorry, if you miss them now. 
It’s the small nice details that makes so big difference.

But apart from that it’s really nice, have put it up in the rotation on my server, will see if I keep the campaign or just change into stopwatch.

I found another spot where it also occurs and that is the arch for the main entrance to the axis castle, the side without the gate.
Just because I m a curious guy: how did you create the arches? When I started doing the arches in my upcoming map I used the how-is-it-called-tool for arches that ships with GTK, and it fucked up the arches completely… some of them didnt show their side parts after the compile in a similiar way as shown on these pics.
I let go off that tool very fast and created my arches with some brushes clipping them in a way I got nice arches that show up with no probs. There s not much difference in tris-count, in general my way of doing arches produces less tris (depends on how many brushes I use for an arch, usually 6-10).

A record is a piece of vinyl that some people think sounds better then CD. Lots of scratchy stuff.

Those holes in the arches come from the LoD calculations in the Q3 engine which don’t work quite right under certain circumstances, which leads to those “holes” seen in the picture. This is actually more or less a bug (“feature”) in the Q3 engine which can be got around at the cost of higher polycount and/or losing the LoD function of patches. Since we didn’t notice any of those cracks in our default configurations we didn’t apply any fix to those (would’ve been either to make all problematic arches ASE models or splitting the bottom patch), so it’ll stay this way now. 
I have found one bad thing : statue is not smoothed , do you want it , or it should be smooth?
As you may have read in the readme or in the first post of the thread, the statue is an custom model which was made by Ophelia. We didn’t altered anything. It hansn’t got a shader or smoothing groups.
The only thing is, that it is lightmapped because vertex light looked somehow crappy in this spot.
So there might be some hard edges, but does THAT really matter? There are so many corners, wheels and “real life” rounded things that are somehow sharp edged ingame, if you are close enough.
If I didn’t understood, what you meant, please provide a screenshot.
Just had a quick run around and congratulations - it looks fantastic (and I used to like how it played, and from what I see the changes will only improve on that).
This is now part of my ‘could have been official’ map list, which (excluding my own naturally!) consists of (in no particular order):
3 maps in all the time ET has been out - not so good, but there you go 
BTW dunno if it’s new or the first time I’ve seen it but I liked the reflection map on the snow - very subtle (although I think it’s now pushing framerate limits, but I’m hardly one to talk!).
