Dude! Little dude! The Allies speak American English. They are wearing American uniforms. They use American weapons. They are Americans. Do you somehow also assume that some of those German speaking Axis are really Italians or Japanese and not Germans?

Yes I know that, I just wanted to point out that nobody who seriously plays this game would call Allies ‘Americans’ or Axis ‘Germans’, the only people I ever hear refer to them as that, are people playing for the first time.

I think they should reduce the range of smgs.

They should indeed replace the MG42 by a MG34 for axis,
and M1914A4 .50 cal MG for allies
I think they also should give LMG to soldiers : BAR A2 and STG44.

.30 caliber for mobile, .50 for stationary.
