ET Skin - helmet

(Schubi) #1

Hello!

For my forthcoming skin and soundpack ET:PACK I’d like to change the helmets of the allies. I do not need any new models, just searching for a new skin! Does anybody have the following helmetskin whitout the ammo-signs? Just a simple green helmet… or does anyone have other skins?

Primary I’m searching for the same simple green helmet with only the orange button on the backside…

Take it out yourself. :confused:

Open Photoshop then RTFM.

Well, that is exactly what I wanted to know! Thanks for you really important post!

Use the Clone tool in photoshop to copy over the White Icons - PM me if ya dont know how matey!

You asked if anyone had a skin. Not if anyone could tell you how to make it. I was mearly suggesting doing it yourself in Photoshop… even though you ‘didnt’ mean it like the way it was said, you wont be able to learn if you just get others to do it for you. And tbh;

I’m using JASC PSP as my favourite graphics program. I allready tried the clone tool to copy the green parts over the white icons, also tried after that to prework the green helmet, but the problem is, that I can’t make the surface as perfect as I want. Also the light effects on both sides are gone and the curve doesn’t look like smooth… there’s also no seamless transition from the original green to my replaced part…

I tried my reworked helmet in the game and it looked horrible. I was sitting several hours the last nights, spending my time on a 256x128px small graphic to test and play around with several graphics tools, but I got no satisfied result! I know, that I’m a newbie in doing graphics…

How is this?

In tga format.

PS: Get Photoshop. I’m pretty much a complete noob in photo editing, and I literally did this in 30 seconds with the healing brush tool Photoshop has.

Hello Chappy! Wow - this is exactly, what I was searching for! Seems, that Photoshop is more powerful than PSP (or the tools are working in another way)…think I must buy and install this program… Thanks for your help, will add your name to the skinpack! :slight_smile:
