oh, and by the way, the teleporter just HAS to be the teleporter from that halloween episode, where homer buys it from Professor Frink and Bart’s body gets mixed up with a fly.
or include the strange 3-dimensional world from that other episode as a secret.

the teleporter is already implimented in the map.
Does somebody know how i could create a good teleporting effect?
I would like to have a green glow every time someone uses the teleporter.

not completetly sure how…but by using light beams, and change the color to green, and then move it up and down with a script mover would be an idea
maybe use a blinking green dlight as well

You have a teleporter?

How do you teleport a player? I’ve been half wondering how to do that for a while…

teleporter is no problem.
Simply a brush with trigger texture, then make it trigger/trigger_teleport
then create a target/target_position and connect them with ctrl+k or target and targetname keys.

I’ve not got a trigger_teleport entity. :???:
… or a target_position, for that matter.

I’m using GtkRadiant 1.3.8-ET, if that explains things.

btw, for all those that want skins, remember that simply slapping simpsons skins on the current models wont look good. You’d need new characters models as well.
