ET Server Logfile Information Request

(Mindcrime) #1

Hi, I need some information concerning the ET generated logfile (throught g_log, g_logsync and logfile) on the server side:

  1. MOD_XXX types.

MOD_UNKNOWN 0
MOD_MACHINEGUN 1
MOD_BROWNING 2
MOD_MG42 3
MOD_KNIFE 6
MOD_LUGER 7
MOD_COLT 8
MOD_MP40 9
MOD_THOMPSON 10
MOD_STEN 11
MOD_GARAND 12
MOD_SILENCER 14
MOD_FG42 15
MOD_FG42SCOPE 16
MOD_PANZERFAUST 17
MOD_GRENADE_LAUNCHER 18
MOD_FLAMETHROWER 19
MOD_DYNAMITE 26
MOD_AIRSTRIKE 27
MOD_ARTY 30
MOD_WATER 31
MOD_CRUSH 34
MOD_FALLING 36
MOD_SUICIDE 37
MOD_TRIGGER_HURT 39
MOD_CARBINE 41
MOD_KAR98 42
MOD_GPG40 43
MOD_M7 44
MOD_LANDMINE 45
MOD_SATCHEL 46
MOD_MOBILE_MG42 49
MOD_SILENCED_COLT 50
MOD_GARAND_SCOPE 51
MOD_CRUSH_CONSTRUCTION 52
MOD_CRUSH_CONSTRUCTIONDEATH_NOATTACKER 54
MOD_K43 55
MOD_K43_SCOPE 56
MOD_MORTAR 57
MOD_AKIMBO_COLT 58
MOD_AKIMBO_LUGER 59
MOD_AKIMBO_SILENCEDCOLT 60
MOD_AKIMBO_SILENCEDLUGER 61
MOD_SWITCHTEAM 64

  • Are these ALL AVAILABLE FRAG TYPES and their corresponding ID’s?
  • What kill is MOD_SILENCER? What’s the corresponding line in a client logfile?
  • MOD_CARBINE is a kill with a Garand?
  • MOD_KAR98 is a kill with a K43?
  1. 115:33 ClientUserinfoChanged: 2 n\BuBBa \2\c\1\r\2\m\1000000\s\2010200\dn\dr\0\w\8\lw\8\sw\7\mu\0\ref\0

n = name
t = team
c = class
dn = disguised name (covert ops)
ref = is referee

the other ones have to do with the experience points and levels for each class. what do they represent and how do you have to interpret the values?

  1. Obviously the weaponstats have changed since RTCW/OSP too.
What has changed? What are the bitpatterns for the weapons?

I need these desperately in order to get my IRC live reporter bot running correctly on ET servers…

Thx for the info!!

PS: check out my RtCW/ET/SOF2/MOH:AA/ST:V-EF Reporter Bot

(digibob) #2

You’re missing:

MOD_GRENADE_PINEAPPLE 20 (allied grenade)
and
MOD_EXPLOSIVE 40 (some scenery exploded)

MOD_SILENCER is the silenced luger.
MOD_CARBINE is a garand kill from an engineer’s rifle
MOD_KAR98 is a K43 kill from and engineer’s rifle

  1. m is number of medals, listed in order:
battle sense, engineering, first aid, signals, light weapons, heavy weapons, and intelligence

s is skills in the same order

mu is muted i believe
r is rank

the rest don’t really matter

  1. You’d have to contact Rhea from OSP about that.

(swoop) #3

I thought that M7 44 is allied grenade and GPG40 43 is axis grenade?

Also, is there an easy way to parse the XP obtained by someone? You can take the score: field at the end of the round but if someone quits mid-round, that’s lost. You can take the WeaponStats information when they disconnect but it’s not always the same amount of numbers in each WeaponStats listing so you can’t tell if you’re getting the right info… :banghead:

(digibob) #4

Yup, but only from the grenade launchers on the rifles.

(swoop) #5

then what’s MOD_GRENADE_LAUNCHER 18 ?

(digibob) #6

That’s the standard axis grenade, it’s a holderover from rtcw code, which is a holdover from q3 code…

(swoop) #7

So then the weapon codes look like:
MOD_GRENADE_PINEAPPLE 20 = allied grenade
MOD_GRENADE_LAUNCHER 18 = axis grenade
MOD_M7 44 = allied engineer grenade launcher
MOD_GPG40 43 = axis engineer grenade launcher

Is this correct? Also what’s MOD_MACHINEGUN 1 ? It’s not the crew-served MG42, the mobile MG42 or the tank mounted browning…

(Mindcrime) #8

MOD_MACHINEGUN 1 = Crew-served MG (as was in rtcw) from fixed points or constructed stands
MOD_BROWNING 2 = Browning 30cal tank mounted (fueldump)
MOD_MG42 3 = MG tank mounted (goldrush)
MOD_MOBILE_MG42 49 = Mobile MG (soldier)

(swoop) #9

I’ve gone through about 70MB worth of server logs and I’ve not seen a single MOD_GRENADE_PINEAPPLE. I know that allies have killed people with their grenades during the logged games because i’ve played in the logged games and i average 5 gren kills a map, including killing myself

Help? :banghead:
