All ET can do is export tga’s at specified intervals. I doubt there is any way to record an avi or roq in place of a demo, at least there would be any way from the functions you get with ET. The best solution is to export the demo as tgas and stack them with video editing software.

Fraps (www.fraps.com) can capture direct to avi and includes sound. Havn’t actually used it but I think it brandishes your captured avi with the words FRAPS.

You can record your demo, then export the frames and then compile this in QVM but ti will not include sound.

…and the video quality is horrid; ET has the option to export the sound, no need to worry about capturing it in the same swipe as the demo.

Thanks!

Client can record game audio to a wav file.
wav_record starts recording
wav_stoprecord stops recording
cl_wavefilerecord 1 will start recording from the moment a demo is loaded.
