Wasn’t there a Nerf game a few years ago? That’s non violent too.
Yeah! Nerf Arena Blast, lol.

The most likely reason I can think of is this:
Killing someone is easy.
Creating disaster scenarios = Hard
May be it makes more sense to devide the games which are discussed here in two subgroups:
[ul]
[li]non lethal
[/li][li]non violent
[/li][/ul]
(I would consider “non violent” as a sub group of “non lethal”).
I would chategorize a game where kids throw snowballs as violent but not lethal.
Also the paintgun games are violent but non lethal.
I think every shooter can be turned into a non lethal game:
Weapons shoot some sort of energy that teleports you at a certain point (respawn point) if your shield energy is low/zero (or e.g. Jailbreak mods).
Now I come up with four types of games:
[li]non violent
[/li][ul]
[li]lethal
[/li]the mentioned survivor game idea (if player could drown for example)
if the player would have to destroy the environment (blast doors for example) it would be violent-lethal due to my thoughts
[li]non lethal
[/li][/ul]

Due to my thoughts I came to the conclusion that Mario is a violent - lethal game.
And isn’t suited for people that aren’t adults.

I remember a mod for Far Cry.
Goal was to simulate a farmers life.
Something with tractors.
Can’t remember the exact name.
