good engine yes, but without a great game idea for it then the engine is wasted, the ww2 thing has been done to death a few times already. surly the great creative mod teams can come up with something more original than another ww2 game

In a vain attempt in at least getting a focal point for a Tribes mod, I’ve created: http://the-asylum.net/goingtribal
At the moment to purely act as a dev hub for this mod.
For those interested parties, it would probably help to have a starting point such as this.

once the sdk is released i’m gonna have a look at the code myself.

I worked on a mod for wolfet a while back but it never finished.
I stopped mainly cos it was kinda dying and people where losing interest in it.
One of the things the mod contained was: loot menu, configurable skillpoints.

for qw i might be thinking of doing the same thing.
I love it when characters have different abbilities.
ex: running, reload speed, jumping, spread,…

I was also thingking of a system where u can buy upgrades rather then earn them automatically. So u don’t need to get certain upgrades where u are not interested in. I would be able to buy them with the xp u earn (xp won’t drop when buying something). I think that could prove to be interesting, not?
