ET Not Installing

I’m trying to reinstall Enemy Territory on my computer but when I choose the Install option it shows a brief pop-up then does nothing. This is the same game that I used before and works so it isn’t a problem with the game. The pop-up is for demo shield and nothing came of it. My computer has all the right equipment and more then enough memory.
I’m wondering if anyone had this sort of problem before and knows how to fix it. Thanks.

This will likely go ignored…q3map2 is a map compiler, not a general ET support forum. Even if somebody has an answer, chances are they won’t help – this has absolutely nothing to do with q3map2 :confused:

I use Linux, I can’t give you any advice.

No worries, it doesn’t hurt anybody to read something - I just wanted to make sure you knew that you probably wouldn’t get the answers you wanted in this forum.
