[ET Map] Negoshk

Hello!
I just got my new map ready for beta1 !
And here it is:

Name: Negoshk
Defending Team: Axis
Timelimit: 25min
Spawntime Axis/Allies: 25/20
Objectives:

  1. Defend/Steal the Tank
  2. Escort/Stop the Tank
  3. Defend/Blow East Gate
  4. Defend/Blow South Gate
  5. Defend/Blow Ammo Depot no.1
  6. Defend/Blow Ammo Depot no.2
  7. Defend/Blow Ammo Depot no.3
    Yes - Allies have to destroy 3 depots before they win!

Ich hope you like the map and I’m happy about every critizism you give!
Especially these with some improvement ideas!

Had a quick play - looks very nice and I think it will be a fun map :slight_smile: Here’s some things I found -

1)Should be able to plant landmines on the snow

2)It seems a bit flat - could do with some hills to vary the height of the terrain?

3)Theres a missing tex (you see it when inside the 3 depots just after they explode (nice collapsed building feature btw :))

4)Some of the snowdrifts have some lighting type issues -

5)The tops of the barrels and windowledges look a bit like streaky bacon :wink:

6)When the tank blows the 2nd door, the door debris appears before the door explodes.

7)Theres a shader error when the map loads (may have something to do with 3))

WARNING: unknown rgbGen parameter 'environment' in shader 'models/mapobjects/blitz_sd/blitz_sd_windows_s_mm'

Other than these mostly minor points, great stuff - nice and small d/l as well :slight_smile:

i would prefer it if you add some more sounds like “allies have stolen the tank” or “allies have destroyed southwall” or not only the text: allies planted on ammo depot no 1 but also “dynamite planted” sound… looking forward to playing the map in some wars :wink:

Ah yeah - theres no ambient sounds :slight_smile:

Also the gates don’t appear on the allied cmd map until they are blown (+ the eastgate doesn’t show the can-be-destroyed-by-tank icon)

Can’t see the depots as axis on the cmd map - I was getting very lost :smiley:

Turn the 3 depot signs into jpgs to save a bit of space :slight_smile:

Nice work,
Looked good from the start. I can certainly see this map becomming a standard competition map.

Cups/leagues/ladders should certainly try it!
