- Listen server will always start on Windows because downloaded files are not stored in fs_basepath
so how is going etlegacy and did you have a server to can test ? and did mac players can play this mod ?

It is going well :). Mac players can play ET:L, but only with Silent or Legacy mods. Hopefully, NQ 1.3 will be compatible too, but that depends on IR4T4. We have a test NQ 1.2.9b server @ etlegacy.com, but it is usually empty except for bots. I am planning to improve it and attract some players someday when I have more time. We had NQ 1.3.0 preview there, but it wasn’t open to public.

Does anyone know why development has seemingly stalled? I am slightly worried
I don’t play any more but have been building the game for a small few people weekly, usually I take a look on git and see multiple commits daily and usually no more then 2 days without anything. I went away a week ago and just got back and now there is 12 days without anything, hence the slight worry!
Has it stalled/stopped? Something has caused issue? Has development moved to another provider of SCM?
Don’t worry, this project is not dead. I guess we are all just too busy doing other stuff, but speaking for myself, I will resume ET:L development sometime next week.
Those who follow our repository commits know that we have a new XReaL-inspired OpenGL 3+ renderer made by Jacker. It will take time before it is fully usable, but I don’t have to tell you it will rock.
Oh thank god! I thought maybe something bad happened, maybe even to someone :eek:.
Anyway, thanks for the good work as always, I had noticed renderer2 but not looked deeper and thought it was straight opengl2 rip from ioq3, but that sounds even better! I may even test it at some point in the future
I installed the ETL version, found my server running nitmod, it connected and ran just fine. Seems to be wholly compatible with most mods out there. I dont have the ETL version running on my server though, so not sure if that’s an issue.

Are you using same r_mode? How did you notice these FPS drops?
yes same r_mode same autoexec
i play with ETGold 2.73
it seems the fastest one
etlegacy is the slowest maybe the problem came from SDL?
i have a suggestion
can u integrate bobot into etlegacy as an alternative to omnibot
it’s GPL too and IMO it’s more sophisticated with its Artficial Neural Network and Genetic algorithm
bobot’s bots are more intelligent than omnibot ones and are more humanized
