Have you tried to install ET in anothere folder? When reïnstalling ET in the same folder after an uninstall you could keep your old config which is bugged and tehrefore crashes.
Another thing, could you be more detailed at teh crash? Is it a crash so you go back to windows and u get an error report or is it a warning in ET?
Have you updated to patch 2.60 and installed mods?

yea iam like in the server for 5 sec. then the Not Responding popup comes up which asks if i wanna send or not send the error.
i have jaymod and etpro…my clans server is on 2.55 but i do have 2.60 and go there for matches
and my punkbuster is updated.
yea i got a GeFORCE MX 4000 128 mb ddr pci graphics card. i have no idea if thats the one that needs downgrading orwere to downgrade my drivers, so if you or someone else can link me to it…it would mean alot to me
and i just deleted et downloaded a new one…and it still does it.and also my firewall isnt blocking it…

Try to install it in another folder tehn teh other ET so you have a complete clean install!
Your card is a Geforce 4 based card yes, so you could try downlgrading the drivers. Uninstall the drivers you use, then download older ones from www.nvidia.com. Select your card and OS. Just go tot teh page and it shows teh latest driver. If you only have installed teh drivers taht came with teh card (on a CD) you could try the latest driver. Just download and install. If that doesnt fix it you could try older drivers. On teh left of teh site there is somewhere a button with “driver archive” or soemthing like that. Just try a driver from late 2004, early 2005 as I didnt have ant problems with those ones in the past before i upgraded my videocard from a geforce 2 to an ati radeon 9600pro.
